Amazon and MGM Studios used artificial intelligence to 'clone' the voices of the actors involved in the film's remake. The writer has submitted a request to the U.S. Copyright Office to recover the film's rights when the claims from the Alliance Company expire in November 2023. In order to complete the project before the copyright deadline, Amazon Studios utilized AI to 'duplicate' the voices of the actors participating in the remake. Amazon denied replacing or recreating actors through AI.
